Existing literature such as web pages, printed flyers or ad copy may be used. A custom script is written and submitted to you for approval. Upon script approval the audio production begins. Voicing – Editing – Mixing – Mastering Announcers that are best suited for the sound of the arrangement are contracted for voicing. Voices are placed within the audio arrangement, edited and mixed with music and sound effects. The arrangement is then mastered to CD and for the digital playback unit. Will Message On-Hold work with my telephone system? Most newer telephone system come equipped with an MOH port. You should be able to locate it on the main telephone unit or KSU (Key service unit). Or, if you hear music or a message when you place someone on-hold then your phone system is ready for a message on-hold. If not check your telephone systems manual or call your telephone service provider. But I have an older telephone system... If you have a one, two or three line telephone system you will require the use of a 'Message On-Hold Adaptor'. What will I use to play the message? For top quality Digital Audio The Control Room utilizes playback units from Nel-Tech Labs. They all ship with full warranty and will restart automatically if the power fails. The Sonorous® is a state-of-the-art digital audio recording and playback device designed to provide a continuous-play audio source for message-on-hold, background music or any other audio application where high-quality audio playback is required. The audio program is loaded from a CD burned as a DATA CD with standard MP3 files onto high-density flash memory using a pure digital-to-digital file transfer. After loading audio, the CD can be removed and audio plays from the 8Ω or 600Ω RCA output jack Installation. The Control Room will ship the digital playback unit directly to your place of business. It will be complete with your recorded message and full instructions for installation. It's a very simple process, but telephone systems can be quite complex. This is why we recommend you hire your regular telephone provider to install it professionally. Installation usually will take no longer than one hour and should not disrupt your telephone service in any way.
